He studied at Department of  CLOTHING OF HANYANG UNIV. and graduated in 2001.

He began his career working for national brand ; vims outffiters of Sungdo In 2001,

he joined  character brand ;  X IN X. of Deco. In 2002.

His next move was  introducing to progressive customers  with  group and private exhibitions in 2003 and fashion show in 2007.

His collections are produced in SOUTH KOREA.

Freaks BY KIMTAEHOON is an independent brand created TAE-HOON.KIM in 28th Feb. 2004.

His collection is contemporary fashionwear and characterised by philosophy with artistic spirit.

For him creativity is about making draping new and structural formality  within garments.

His inspiration point is architecture and painting and various industrial design.  

Almost his expressions of women fashion are

asymmetrical organization, aesthetic draping , mathematical crossing , structural formality.
